All of those who know me know that music is a big part of my life and can really affect my mood. I can be having a really shitty day and all of a sudden it'll get brighter cause I hear something that makes me smile, or the flipside can happen (which seems to happen more these days, but hey).
So I'm just curious about what song(s) affect people around me. Hence this meme:
Songs that make you feel good:
1. Stevie Ray Vaughan's instrumental take on Little Wing. That song, without fail, will make me feel better. I can just imagine him in a smoky room, hunched over his stratocaster, playing in his own little world, oblivious to the people around him…
2. Dixie, by Harmonium. That clarinet solo is contagious in its happiness. You can't listen to that and not smile.
3. Pink Floyd – the whole Dark Side of The Moon album. Way, way to many good times spent with friend associated with that album. Especially the crappy mixed tape that I'd made in CEGEP, with Clapton's White Room starting the moment Dark Side ended (on a very jarring note, but we all got used to it)
Songs that make me feel crappy:
1. Peter Gabriel – In your eyes.
2. Coldplay – Everything's not lost
3. Dido – Isobel
