The weekend is here, and this is a good thing. Near the end of the day, I found out that all my weekend plans were shot to hell, which is always fun to learn. I was supposed to go have brunch with Michel tomorrow, but he's gone to Niagara for a few days. Impromptu vacation with his Isa – I wish him fun. Things are going really well for those two, I'm really glad about that. We could have had dinner tonight, but I had eaten a late lunch was uber tired so I took a raincheck for mid next week when he comes back.
Spent a good part of the afternoon writing documentation. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's that. Documentation is the pits, and my brain was leaking out of my ears when 6pm rolled by. Met up with moonlightjoy, who was a bit down in the dumps, for a quick pint before heading home. We had a good chat, which I think did both of us some good (well, it made me laugh, anyway) and then we parted ways. She was going to meet friends at a show, I headed home for a nap.
When I got home, i decided to forego the nap in lieu of a light movie. Since nobody could/wanted to go see HP3, I postponed it for now (cause I really, really hate seeing movies alone and both eniran and moonlightjoy said they wanted to see it, but couldn't tonight). I still felt like a movie though, so I indulged in a Sherlock Holmes flick I bought this week. There are 5 movies in the DVD set, and I watched the first one tonight, The hound of the Baskervilles.
I've always loved Sherlock Holmes (remember the book project), and I've read all the canonical stories, as well as many others. I'm a serious Holmes trivia addict too, so seeing the original movies was so good :)
Elementary, my dear Watson :D
oh my lord i had the most dramatic time trying to get down to that damned show!!! streets were closed off and bus routes cancelled. made josie a very angry angry girl indeed.
however. the show only started at 10-ish. it was fun! really fun.
