I love your cat. And my cat. I retract all statements re: Cynicism in favour of cats, because I only just woke up and my own cat was all “purr”. So… yeah.
Yeah, I vaguely remember that phase of training Bear (my cat – she came with the name). It passes, it passes! Of course, mine is a girl and got spayed a leetle early, so that might be responsible for the overall loungy-ness.
Yeah, I figured you're a responsible sort of human being that way. Bear got done at just under 4 months, because no-one could remember when she was born – hence the severe laid-back-ness.
She's reaaaaally laid-back. Big time lap cat. Sleeps, quite literally, in my arms, right under my chin at night. Cannot be left for long periods of time because she wonders, in a visible fashion, what she has done to be abandoned.
She was partly raised by dogs on a farm I used to ride at, and then the rest of the way by our old whippet, so we're not sure she thinks she's a cat at all.

*chuckle* Cat is like that as well. He doesn't sleep in my room cause I don't want to take the chace to sensitize myself by having sleep on my or on my bed. So, in the morning, he's all “you bastard, you left me all alone at night! now come here and give me some lovin' to make up for it”. He's quite vocal in his needs :)
it's actually water :) I always keep a mug of water next to my bed; but he's like that for any container. You have to be careful about leaving any glass where he can reach it :)
Your namesake is the same way. You can't leave any glass out because he will stick his head in it, and it will fall over, and there will be spills and broken glass.

Also, impressive fridge.

psst! you have your links the slightest bit mixed up – click on the first pic will bring you to a bigger version of the second, and vice versa.
Is Boris turning into Garfield?

doh, thanks. In what regards is Boris turning into Garfield?

mine will be snipped shortly – as soon as he hits 6 months or so.

just like a woman
oooooh, I'm going to get shit for that one :D
(http://livejournal.com/users/talisker)
he's drinking coffee!
(no, he's not getting fat.. though if he starts on your lasagna, i'd get worried…)
(and keep him away from orange dye)
Nermal, and d'oh! :)

and he's actually getting a bit pudgy :)
no, no. I totally agree. Girls suck that way.
Aww. Cute! He'll be a great companion later on, then. Except when he goes crazy and runs around the house at 4am
yelling about PMS.(http://livejournal.com/users/pretentiousgit)
hehe! can cats get drunk?
he's better than an alarm clock. At 7:15 sharp, he starts to prowl mine and my roommates doors, mewling away and scratching at the doors.
“Give me luurrrrve! I need LUURRRRRRRRRVE!”
awwww! cute!
I feel like my mother every time I look at my cats and say, “have you gained weight?!”
oy.
well, I know for a fact they can get high… dunno about drunk.
heehee :D

kitty got stuck in a glass, and in trashing to get out of it, spilled a full glass of water on all my remotes. I was really happy about that one.
It sucks but it does look kinda cute when their heads are all mushed inside the glasses.
hopefully, you'll never have to find out!
That cat is the cutest furball I have ever seen. I kinda miss him and Montreal.
