It's doing it to pics on your LJ, too. The default URL of your LJ is now http://talisker.livejournal.com/ not http://www.livejournal.com/users/talisker.
If people keep stealing images, something else you could try is giving them a png 2000 pixels wide and one pixel high. This will break lots of layouts.

I know, but the damn thing is that I don't have access to the .htaccess rules directly. I have to go through cPanel on my webhost, which is proving tricky.
