I bought some cough syrup yesterday but I found that I can’t take it with the antidepressants I’m on. I went to the pharmacy this morning, after my voice left me, to go get some syrup I could take. The pharmacist gave me the syrup I bought yesterday. When I told him I couldn’t take it, our conversation went like this:
– I can’t take that one.
– you sure?
– pretty much
– let me look… Clickety click…. Hmmm. You’re right. Those two don’t play nice together. Hmmm. That’s the only option you can really have…
– so I need to stick with halls?
– umm, yeah. Hope it doesn’t last for too long.
