Panning for Gold
I saw a picture of a new Todd White painting from his Facebook page and I asked out art pushers (the lovely people from Whitewall Galleries) to see if they could get more information on it. This is what I got back:
I have some news on ‘Panning for Gold’ and I can see why it caught your eye it’s an amazing piece now I’ve seen it complete.
It is only the original that will be released from his studio and there are no current talks of this being turned in to a limited edition at this time.In fact this pieces is so amazing that it is the headline of his upcoming US tour. This is expecting to be one of the, if not the first piece to sell from his tour, which makes this a very rare and exclusive opportunity to own this piece before it starts later this year.
Panning for Gold – Original – 18” x 44” – £69,195
I told them that it’s beautiful, and that we’ll buy it to put next to our Picassos and Monets… le sigh.

Damn good day, considering.
I probably slept for the whole of 3 hours last night, but I somehow managed to not only solve my jaxb marshaling problem, but also fix the csv deep scanning bug, get caching configured and working, tidy up the service framework *and* not kill anybody. I’m really proud of that last one.
