These days, Bean is a chatterbox on the way to school. Some gems from this morning:
– daddy, you need to get a real job.
– but I already have a job
– no, not work, a job. Like a cook, or a seller.
– do you mean a sailor?
– no, a seller, with a shop. Like a wine seller, that would be good.
– but then mummy would drink all our wine and we wouldn’t have any to sell.
– oh… How about a wine restaurant then, and you could tell mummy that she can only have one bottle a day.
– yeah, the world work.
– OK. When you finish your work, do that. That’s a good plan.
And my favourite :
– daddy, you need to take mummy out on a date.
– ??? OK, but we’ll need to wait until she feels better.
– all right. But you’ll need to buy her some nice flowers.
– OK.
– and some chocolate. And some candy. And take her to see a super duper duper super scary movie called werewolf zombies eat your brains with a headless king in it (!!! I kid you not). And you can even kiss her on the lips!
– Riiiiiight.
So yeah, a very good but very random moment. He also had me thank his teacher for teaching him French, because he’s really starting to want to pick it up.
