Got email from our cat breeder:
he is adorable, a right little character…loves his food and has the loudest voice, usually used when he wants his food!! Most of the pics I get of him are while he is asleep…or when he has just woke up. He has this habit of dashing around like a lunatic for an hour or so, then just collapsing on the spot and falling asleep!…lovely little chap.
He'll fit right in :)
We got email from the cat breeder this weekend. It appears that our gray-furred cat is turning brown :)

bad news: slept for shit last night, weird dreams and tossing and turning. Had a lot on my mind when I went to bed, which was most definitively not helped by the fact that I couldn't get that stupid Gay Dance song out of my head and was singing it all friggin night (which probably serves me right for downloading it in the first place). My phone is still pissing me off, as are my Canadian taxes.
good news:our kitten has been born last night:
We should be getting him in about 3 months.

Just spoke with my landlady and I can't bring Boris over. Poo, I say! POO!
…someone new appeared in my life.
Who could have thunk it, that one year later, I'd be writing this entry in Merry Ole England.
All because of my cat.
Edit: Nat had sent me pics earlier in the week. I finally had the time to scan a few. So, for all of you, here's my kitty:
I just spoke with my landlady about the possibility of bringing Boris here. My lease says no pets, but since all the furnishings are mine and I keep his claws trimmed, added to the fact that he's an indoors cat, I think I have a chance. I also offered to have the apartment steam cleaned before I left, so that might sway her. I'll see. She didn't seem all that chuffed about the idea, but who knows.
I keep running into kitties. There's the black one that likes to take naps on our front lawn, and I saw a black and white little guy this morning on my way to work that literally threw itself on the ground at my feet and demanded a tummy rub.
I miss my kitty.
