Every time we come back to Leicester, we always make a point to go to Buck’s chippy. It’s insane to think you can have a portion of cod ‘n chips or half a chicken and chips for 5 quid that can feed two people!

According to the Internet Archive, this is what my website (and I) looked like back in 2004. That was the year I met crazy English girl.
Though to be fair, the picture was taken at least 2 years prior, when I was living near UofM and not Snowdon – probably around the time of crazy German girl.

Teenage memories
When I was a teenager, still living at my parents’ and afterwards in my shared flat in Montreal, I used to have this poster. It was from the 1988 Pink Floyd Canadian tour. It was made by a company/artist called Harron.
It is now completely impossible to find one.
This makes me sad.
Botanical garden lanterns
One of the things I really miss from Canada is the annual Garden of Lights at the Botanical Garden, in Montreal. It’s one of the first things Katy and I saw when she came over in 2004, and will always have be a special place for us.
